Umred has many brick kilns in and around it, especially on Tarna road. It could be that Umred is still expanding and all the construction work in and around Umred makes it a profitable business. But, frankly speaking I have no knowledge about the business, I just see that these brick kilns are scattered across the region.
This small boy in the picture is probably the son of a skilled worker hired especially for brick manufacturing business and judging by the language he and the other kids there spoke, I am guessing they were called from some other state for this special work.
